As part of activities to commemorate the 2024 #WorldNoTobaccoDay, CSEA and our partner Development Gateway joined the ministerial press briefing organised by the Federal Ministry of Health in Abuja earlier today. CSEA was represented by CSEA’s research associate, Priscilla Airohi-Alikor, and communications assistant, Adaora Ofodum.

During the briefing, stakeholders presented their accomplishments and contributions to Nigeria’s tobacco control efforts. The federal ministry of health commended the Development Gateway for providing data that helps facilitate their tobacco control efforts. The ministry also expressed a desire to continue working with all stakeholders to achieve the goal of tobacco control eradication.
