IOM Goodwill Ambassadors’ Joint Statement for Peace and Urgent Humanitarian Action

As IOM Goodwill Ambassadors, we are heartbroken to see millions of people displaced. Families are in urgent need of protection, necessities, and hope. Conflict, climate disasters, economic instability, and other crises uproot lives, stripping people of their safety, dignity, and future.

We are uniting in a call for compassion and urgent humanitarian action. We are deeply moved by the suffering of individuals who have been forced from home, who are now in overcrowded shelters, cut off from essential services, and enduring immense hardship.

The International Organization for Migration, IOM – UN Migration, stands at the forefront of global crises, providing life-saving assistance and critical support to families and communities. IOM’s efforts in tracking displacement, ensuring access to health and protection services, and delivering relief are vital for people on the move.

The scale of these emergencies requires collective action. We cannot remain silent as lives are lost and families are torn apart. Humanitarian aid must reach those in greatest need, and it is essential for the international community to come together to ensure the safety and dignity of displaced families, migrants, and all vulnerable populations.

As Goodwill Ambassadors, we commit to raising awareness, advocating for humanitarian support, and mobilizing global action for IOM’s work. The time to act is now – before more lives are impacted and more people are forced to leave their homes.
