The Security Council will be holding three high-stakes high-level meetings today, with the United Kingdom’s Foreign Minister David Lammy presiding as Council president for November. Ministers and delegates from the 15-member organ are due to vote on a ceasefire demand on Sudan followed by briefings on the situation in war-torn Gaza, with an afternoon session on the conflict in Ukraine.
